Operation Round Up® Is Making A Difference
Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative's voluntary Operation Round Up program is funded by cooperative members who have agreed to "round up" their electric bill to the next highest dollar amount. On average these members each contribute fifty cents per month or about $6 per year to the Operation Round Up fund. As of December 31, 1999, Adams-Columbia's Operation Round Up program had registered 5,657 participating members. Equally important, the Trust Fund had contributed $31,556.52 to area individuals and organizations.
To the members who have already signed up, there is nothing else to do. There is no need to sign up again each year. However, if you have not yet signed up, it's certainly not too late to join. Just complete the handy coupon below and return it with your next bill payment. If you prefer, you can check the Operation Round Up box on your light bill to join the program.
Individuals and community service organizations in ACEC's service territory are encouraged to apply for donations from the Adams-Columbia Electric Trust Fund. Application forms are available at the Co-op's service centers in Friendship, Pardeeville and Wautoma, or by calling 608-339-3346.
